Learn how to use Emergency OS through satellite on your Disk Phone
What is Emergency SOS through satellite?
With a Disk 8, Disk 8 Plus, Disk 7 or Disk 7 Plus, you can contact emergency services through a satellite if you're in an area that doesn't have Wi-Fi or cell coverage. You can connect your Disk Phone to a satellite by pointing it to the satellite.
In order for you to be able to connect your Disk Phone to a satellite, the sky needs to be clear. Sending a message through a satellite can take a little longer than sending a message through a cell carrier.
You'll be able to connect to a satellite if this icon shows up in the status bar.
Note: This feature only works in the US and Canada.
